I failed my exam. Am I off the course?

Answer:

Not if it was the first time you sat the exam! As with failed coursework, exams also have a resit opportunity, normally in the first week of September. You will need your aggregate score for that module to be 40% or more and the penalty for not passing first time is that your module mark will be capped at 40%.
