This module is designed to provide an introduction to the process by which business and non-commercial organisations develop, select and implement their medium - to - long term plans. The module examines the way such organisations analyse their competitive environment, formulate their objectives, determine their competitive strengths and weaknesses, generate and select appropriate strategies, and implement their corporate plan.

Through the use of case-study and group discussions, the module seeks to balance practical applications with relevant theory and empirical research.
